Facebook Alert: Avoid the Like-Jacking New Teacher Scam Link

POSTED BY Patrick ON March 18, 2011 / 4 COMMENTS
AVOID the following link if you see it in your FaceBook News Feed:

The link reads as follows:
VIDEO: New Teacher from behind,omg
bit.ly
When our new teacher terns towards a blackboard students are go haywire.

If you click the link in this message you will be taken to the Fake Video site which has a “Like” button hidden behind the video’s “Play” button, so as soon as you click “Play” the Like-Jacking has occured. Now the link will appear in all your friend’s News Feed and they may also be tricked into thinking that you actually “Liked” the video and therefore more victims fall for it. Most people don’t even realise that it’s happened to them and so this link will remain in the News Feed for a long time. CLICK HERE to find out how to remove this scam from your Facebook Wall and News Feed.

Share this info with your friends, they will thank you!
